女優、上白石萌音（２５）が２４日、第３０回読売演劇大賞で最優秀女優賞を受賞し、東京・帝国ホテルで行われた贈賞式に出席した。
昨年の舞台「千と千尋の神隠し」や「ダディ・ロング・レッグズ」の演技が評価された萌音は史上最年少の最優秀女優賞となり、「数々の尊いご縁と幸運に恵まれ今があります。長くお芝居を続けていられたら幸せです。この賞に泥を塗ってしまわないように益々精進してまいります」とさらなる飛躍を誓った。
大賞には最優秀作品賞とＷ受賞で劇団員６人の劇団チョコレートケーキの「生き残った子孫たちへ 戦争六篇」が選ばれた。
